Neon Sign Campaign

I want to try something new

Every fall DynaVap releases 3 limited edition colored versions of their flagship vaporizer. For the 2021 release I wanted to try something new, blending photography and practical effects with vector design and effect work in Photoshop. Not only was there a need for a social campaign, but also a general theme that the peripheral assets (such as product care guides, wholesale promotional posters, stickers) can center around. Having a plan on paper that seemed logical, I set forth and hoped for the best. After receiving the colored products I used a color scanner to get a digital read of their physical color. I created a 4-5 shade palette for each and began by using a tablet to display the primary color in those palettes against a bathroom tiled wall. Using a vector design of the neon sign and lettering that I made in Illustrator, I used Photoshop for the glass tubing and other effect work, and blending the backdrop, neon sign, and product photography together.
