Food & Beverage Social Videos

Let me roll up my sleeves

Gawronski Media is a smaller marketing agency focused on privately owned Food & Beverage companies that primarily sell on Amazon and Instacart. I worked along side the ad buyer for Gawronski Media to conceptualize ad campaigns, their platform, targeted or dynamic, etc. and pitch these ideas to the individual clients. Utilizing pre-existing assets from these clients in an intelligent way was key to successfully navigating these projects. However, occasionally there would be a need to acquire additional assets in the most time and cost effective method possible. The short form videos below are some examples of those times.

Project Overview

Client / Industry: Gawronski Media / independent Food & Beverage importers and manufacturers.

My Role: Creative direction, asset collection and management, videographer, photographer, graphic design.

Goals: Create targeted Google+ and/or social campaigns using assets already available from G.M. clients or create our own with minimal time used.

Deliverables: Each short form video exported in various formats for Instacart, Amazon, and social media platforms.

Sarilla - Carbonated tea

In one of our weekly client calls with Sarilla, the owner expressed a sudden interest to start a dynamic social campaign with a considerably larger budget than usual. With little assets provided, we needed a form of ad that could be similar across the various forms of the ad (by using different cans), that could be deployed individually. I captured rotisserie video of cans we had on hand using a studio box, corrected and cleaned up the video in Adobe Premiere, and used After Effects for the sunburst and 3D text effects.

Frieda’s - Imported fruits

After hearing that Gawronski Media had a consultant on hand that could do animation, Frieda’s was quick to pay extra on an Meta ad campaign for some animation work. Using Adobe Photoshop to isolate objects from their packaging, I brought them in to After Effects to make a very simple yet eye catching animation.

That’s It. - Fruit bars

Wanting to try something new and a vague art direction from a client combined to usher this simple and fun ad into existence. Using Adobe Illustrator to draw frame by frame animations of the ‘rip’ transition intelligently, I was able to simply recolor and reverse the playback of one set of illustrations to quickly create every transition in After Effects.

Dee’s Nuts- Flavored nuts

Dee’s Nuts started working with Gawronski Media fervently and immediately asked for several sets of exploratory ad videos. This video was meant to serve as a vehicle for other similar ads showcasing their other flavors / nuts. While this concept wasn’t chosen for the final campaign set, I find it to be one of the more entertaining and thought out assets that I created while consulting with Gawronski Media. Shot entirely on my cellphone, all that was needed for post-production was clipping tracks in Premiere and adding minimal effects like the blinking at the start.
